🍂 Tonight was our first junior outdoor club 🍂

We started the session off with an introduction to outdoor club, explaining what we will do and what we will be learning 🌳

🥕 We then went and harvested our allotment for some carrots and tomatoes, Gordon harvested his for spinach, onions, courgette, corn and garlic 🍅🧄

🍽 Young people then prepared the vegetables to make a stir fry with noodles. Young people tried new vegetables and really enjoyed them. Stir fry is definitely a success at Outdoor Club 😋

🍂 Our first Senior Outdoor Club of the new academic year! 🌿

We had a fantastic first session back! We kicked things off with a planning session, giving our young people the chance to share ideas, discuss and research all the exciting things they’d like to get up to at Outdoor Club this Autumn. 🍁

Then, thanks to the 🌧️ British weather, we brought the outdoors indoors and got creative in the kitchen! We made delicious pizza pockets 🍕 — a perfect way to finish our first session.

We’re already looking forward to all the exciting adventures, activities and experiences we have planned for the coming weeks! 🌲🔥🥾

🌿🏕️ NEW OUTDOOR CLUB! 🏕️🌿

We’re excited to launch our new Outdoor Club this week! 🎉

Outdoor Club will give young people the chance to get outside, try new things, learn new skills and take part in a range of exciting activities throughout the year, including:

🥾 Walking & exploring
🧭 Navigation
🧗 Climbing
🏹 Archery
🔥 Bushcraft
🌱 Working on our allotment

This week’s sessions are a chance to come along, find out more about what we’ll be doing, see what we have planned for the year, and decide if Outdoor Club is something you’d like to join!

👥 Seniors: Wednesday, 3:30–5pm
👥 Juniors: Thursday, 3:30–5pm

Due to the gusty conditions today 🍃 we took our seniors to Albert Park and Dorman Museum. They chose a topic they were interested in and found out some interesting facts and information. Topics included birds, space, fossils and Middlesbrough's industrial history.
