๐ Loneliness Awareness Week ๐
This week is Loneliness Awareness Week, an important opportunity to recognise that loneliness can affect anyone at any stage of life. At Age UK Thanet, in partnership with NHS Kent & Medway Talking Therapies, we want to remind everyone that you are not alone.
If you have been struggling with feelings of loneliness, low mood, anxiety, or simply need someone to talk to, please know that support is available. Reaching out can be the first step towards feeling better, and no one should ever have to suffer in silence.
We are here to listen, support, and help you access the services that can make a positive difference to your wellbeing. Whether for yourself, a friend, or a loved one, please don't hesitate to seek support.
Please see the links below regarding a recent survey of older adults and their mental wellbeing. Through these links, you can learn more about the experiences of older people and the importance of accessing support when it is needed.
