Thank you to everyone who supported our quiz night on Friday. We had loads of fun and raised an amazing £872. Thank you to our Chairman Peter Hermitage for being an excellent quizmaster. Celebrating these wonderful staff members today. Debbie has been with us 20 years, Yvonne and Jill 15 years. Your kindness and dedication is just awesome. (Presentation by our Chair of the Board Peter Hermitage, who has also served the charity for over 25 years! )

Thank you to everyone who supported our Macmillan coffee morning today. We consumed lots of cake and raised £300 so far for the wonderful cancer charity.

During the month of August our League of Friends organised a sponsored walk around the gardens raising a whopping £1,438.35! Thank you to all the volunteers, relatives and residents who took part and to all who donated. We are so grateful as this helps us buy much needed equipment for the Charity. (Here are a couple of pics of those who dressed up to walk)

Calling all garden lovers.

Come along on Sunday 6th September and spend an afternoon in the lovely private gardens at Yoakley House. There will also be tea and delicious home-made cake available.
