🚗☀️ What a fantastic day at The Oval! ☀️🚗

A huge thank you to Ramsgate Old Motor & Motorcycle Club for once again bringing the Cliftonville Classic Car Show to The Oval Bandstand & Lawns. And thank you for the fab video CommunityAd

The sunshine certainly helped, but it was wonderful to see so many people out enjoying the day, admiring the incredible collection of classic vehicles, catching up with friends, and making the most of our beautiful seafront setting. 🌊

There was a real buzz across the site all day, with the lawns full of visitors and plenty of people also enjoying live music in the bandstand from The Old Country Crows, who provided the perfect soundtrack. 🎸🤠

A big thank you to all the exhibitors who brought along their pride and joy, the volunteers and organisers who worked so hard behind the scenes, and everyone who came along to support the event. Events like this are only possible because of the enthusiasm and dedication of so many people.

We're delighted to confirm that the Cliftonville Classic Car Show will return to The Oval on Sunday 9 August, when we'll once again be welcoming a wonderful selection of classic vehicles to the lawns.

And that's not all...

As part of our Summer Sundays concert series, we'll also be welcoming Taking Care of Vegas to the bandstand for an afternoon of live music from 2pm to 4pm. 🎶

Simon and Stephen from GRASS Cliftonville CIC were delighted to be invited to the Oasis Garden Party today in the Godmersham Park. It was fantastic to learn more about the incredible work Oasis does supporting adults and children affected by domestic abuse, and to meet such a passionate team dedicated to making a real difference.

A huge thank you to the Sunley family and Oasis for the kind invitation and wonderful hospitality in such beautiful surroundings. It was also lovely to connect with other charities, trusts, fundraisers and Oasis supporters who share the same commitment to positive change.

Thank you again for having us Oasis Domestic Abuse Service it was a pleasure to attend such a special event in a truly beautiful setting 💜

What a weekend at The Oval Bandstand & Lawns! ☀️

From free yoga sessions with Clare helping people relax and recharge, to our free Sing & Sign summer session with Hannah bringing parents and little ones together, it’s been fantastic seeing so many people getting involved.

Friday night’s Big Quiz was an absolute blast with Owain and his games galore, plenty of laughs and a brilliant atmosphere all next to the bandstand, followed by another energetic Saturday morning kettlebells session with Nathan getting everyone moving.

We then welcomed a packed crowd for an incredible Rumble Wrestling event before finishing the weekend with the fantastic Electronix taking to the stage yesterday, the atmosphere was electric with 80s hits and the community spirit was amazing!

A huge thank you to everyone ❤️ who supports us, attends events, Thank you to our small dedicated team that helps make The Oval such a special place. We’re here every week bringing a wide range of health, fitness, arts, entertainment and community activities to Margate for all ages.
