We’re hiring a Cleaner, daytime hours, no experience needed.

Join the Coffee4Craig team at our building on Great Ducie Street.

- Cleaning, stock checks and restocking
- Mon, Wed & Thu, 11am to 4pm (15 hrs/week, flexible on times)
- Manchester Real Living Wage, rising each year, plus pension
- Full training given, no experience necessary
- Contribution towards travel and health cash plan

A great opportunity to work a steady, hands-on job keeping our building clean and ready.

Back in 2013, Risha, Hendrix and their friend Beck were booked on Tough Mudder in Yorkshire. It was the weekend after Craig passed away, so they decided the muddy catastrophe in front of them would be Coffee4Craig's very first fundraiser. That's how this whole thing started: three people who should not have been anywhere near an obstacle course.

Fast forward thirteen years. Zero training. Far too many snacks. A few additional years on the clock. And we stupidly signed up again.

Beck, meanwhile, is fully fit, buff and raring to go after years of British Military Fitness. Risha and Hendrix are, and we cannot stress this enough, most certainly not. Risha has completed Couch to 5K, which is a genuine achievement. Hendrix managed one quick run and promptly injured himself, which is also a genuine achievement of sorts.

In Hendrix's own words: "We have eaten far too many snacks, barely walked let alone run. How on earth I'm going to manage 15km and 23 obstacles is beyond me. Why did I agree to this?!"

Nobody has answered him yet.

So here's the shameless plea: please donate. Your money funds real work with real people across Manchester, It helps keepo the doors open and feeds over 50 people an evening. - And if the donations dry up, at least send thoughts. Or just hope three middle-aged (old) mud enthusiasts actually finish.

It was fantastic to meet our fabulous new Greater Manchester Mayor Bev Craig. She has a clear vision and took time to listen to the team.

We are organising something a little bit different for Coffee4Craig and we would love you to be part of it.

On Tuesday 3rd November Ann our Fabulous Chair of Trustees is hosting a Coffee Rave: one hour of big tunes, good people and a proper coffee at Gran T's Coffee House in Ancoats, all before work. Label 22 will be on the decks, so the energy is guaranteed.

The dropin is in full swing 🤗 homemade pasta and cake with salad bread and pizza on the tables for people to help themselves. 50 people in already and we are only half way through the evening. Our numbers are starting to go up as we move towards the colder weather 😞

It's wonderful to provide a safe space for people to come and chill with good food.

This is when we can get to know people and see what support they may need moving forwards.
