❄️ Winter on the Streets: Why This Season is Brutal for Our Guests
As temperatures drop, street homelessness becomes even more dangerous. Our guests face challenges that most of us will never experience:
🥶 **Survival Mode:** Hypothermia, frostbite, and illness are real threats. A night outside in Manchester winter can be life-threatening.
😴 **Sleep Deprivation:** Constant movement to stay warm means little to no rest. Exhaustion compounds every other struggle.
🏥 **Health Crisis:** Existing conditions worsen in the cold. The exhaustion and survival instinct mean guests are less motivated to access the medical help they desperately need.
💰 **Rising Costs:** Winter dramatically increases our operating costs—heating the building, keeping guests warm, and providing essential services costs significantly more. Every penny we raise goes further in summer.
**That's why Coffee4Craig is here.** Every evening, we provide a warm space, hot meals, showers, and genuine connection. But we can't do it alone.
This winter, your support could be the difference between survival and tragedy for someone experiencing street homelessness in Manchester.
💙 **Can you help?** Donate, volunteer, or share this post. Every action counts.
Together, we're keeping our guests safe and warm. 🔥
