A very busy weekend ahead for us!

As well as hosting V Camp Pre-Camp, Annual Gathering and Annual Conference (AGM) you can also find us at Co-op Congress. We'll be at the event in Birmingham on both days 12-13 June. Co-op Congress is where the UK Movement comes together to set direction, spark ideas and turn ambition into action 🙌

Drop by our stand and come and say hi to learn more about what we do and how we could partner together 💚.

We are always looking to expand our engagement with like-minded organisations. They can’t wait for you to see the selection, make sure to drop by and come and visit the stand 👀

We are very pleased to be delivering inclusive and adventurous outdoor learning at Biblins Youth Campsite as part of our Tree of Hope project🌳. This program is supported by Herefordshire Council, Herefordshire SEND Local Offer and West Mercia Police. The aim of the program is to provide new outdoor learning experiences for children and young people in a safe outdoor environment, building confidence and resilience, improving relationships and developing communication skills 💚🙌

We have just completed week 3 of a 6 week program with a local to the centre SEND Specialist School. The young people have completed a range of activities such as Team Challenges, made fire 🔥, cooked marshmallows and popcorn, created Stone Age art 🎨, made elder bracelets and developed their skills at Archery 🎯.

We look forward to supporting and guiding the children through the remainder of the project!

This project has been funded by Herefordshire Council and West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner.

Between November 2025 - April 2026 Woodcraft Folk have been proud to be part of the Adventures Away from Home fund!

This fund, from DCMS and disseminated by UK Youth has enabled Woodcraft Folk to work with a number of partners to provide residential and day activities to a wide range of young people including those with experience of the care system, displaced young people and young people with disabilities 💚.

Over this period Woodcraft Folk centres have been able to invite community youth groups, schools and Woodcraft Folk groups for one and two night residential stays and day activities 🙌.

The centres have welcomed diverse groups of young people age 11-25 with a wide range of abilities, experiences, backgrounds and circumstances from organisations and schools such as Coop Academies across Bradford, Muslim Youth Alliance, Good Deeds Leeds, Safe Passage International, CASPA and Kids in Care North Lincolnshire. For many, this was their first time away from home and first time taking part in outdoor activities 🌳☀.

The groups have engaged in a broad range of activities including bushcraft activities such as firelighting, toolwork, stone age art and cooking on the campfire, adventurous activities such as crate stacking and rock climbing, as well as hiking, artwork, cooperative challenges and crafts and all things in between 🔥🎒🗺🧗. All the activities have clearly demonstrated the benefits of residentials and outdoor activities ✨

Overall, Woodcraft Folk have engaged 806 participants from 38 groups, schools and organisations and have supported 44 overnight stays and 18 day activities across its core centres 🎉
