At Maggie’s, we’d like to say a big thank you to Jo. At the Big Highland Fling for Maggie’s Manchester, Jo donated to pay for a day’s worth of support from one of our expert Cancer Support Specialists in-memory of her brother.

Our Cancer Support Specialists are experienced oncology nurses, radiographers, and other healthcare professionals. Experts like these are here for everyone living with cancer, as well as their friends, family, and loved ones.

We're Celebrating Volunteers’ Week at Maggie’s Manchester

This Volunteers’ Week, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to the incredible volunteers who help make Maggie’s Manchester everyone's home of cancer care, today, tomorrow and always.

From caring for our beautiful garden 🌿, to greeting centre visitors with a friendly smile 😊, or simply stopping to say hello, your kindness, time and compassion create a space where everyone feels welcome, supported and understood. We couldn’t do it without you.

We know that men are less likely to reach out for support following a cancer diagnosis, even when things get tough. Our survey found that 42% of men living with cancer hadn’t sought support, and 14% felt too embarrassed to ask for help. That’s why we have men’s support groups across our centres, offering men of all ages and all types of cancer a safe space to talk openly without judgement and the opportunity to meet other men with similar experiences.

Something BIG is brewing at Maggie’s ☕🧁

Host a Bake and Brew in June to help raise money for people living with cancer and those who love them.

Bake and Brew is all about bringing people together over delicious cakes and cuppas, all while supporting Maggie’s. There’s no set recipe: host anytime, anywhere, and make it your own.

Every cuppa served and cake baked will help provide more practical and emotional support for the people who need us most.
