𝗣𝗮𝘇𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁

Chai Cancer Care North West is the beneficiary of almost £1,000 thanks to a sponsored run in Roundhay by Pazit Ziv and her 15-year-old son Ofir.

Israeli Pazit, who walked the five kilometre course, has been living in Leeds for 14 years and was supported by friends many of whom accompanied her on the challenge.

She had set a target of raising £1,000 and as of this week she had pledged £816.

Pazit said: “This was an enormous challenge for me and it helped so much that my son Ofir and lots of my friends joined me.

“The run was part of the Leeds Running Festival and we had the advantage of refreshment stations set up along the course.

“It was a lovely social event and at the same time raised much needed funds for a worthy cause.”
