3 weeks ago we were delighted to head to Sheffield to support the Manchester Children's and Adult teams at the British transplant Games 2026.

Happy Monday 💜

We are super happy to share a daredevil act for our lovely charity today! To celebrate a special birthday in November, Michelle bravely choose to take on the challenge of a wing walk on August 15th. She wanted to support Kidneys for Life because her Dad needed dialysis before he passed away from kidney failure in 2023. As more of her family are now under the care of Salford Royal, it inspired Michelle to support our lovely charity.

Michelle found the experience amazing and raised an incredible £722 in the process! Thank you so much Michelle, it just goes to show that bravery can be brilliant 💜

Organ donation week - September 21st-27th 2026

Last week we were delighted to be surrounded by the success of organ donation at the Transplant Games in Sheffield. The energy, positivity and community that was around us was incredible and only made possible by organ donation. When someone receives an organ transplant it's simply life changing - what can you do to promote organ donation during this special week? Did you know that of all the people waiting for transplant across the UK, three quarters are waiting for a kidney!
