Over the next year, free support drop-ins are available to the public at Ladybarn Community Hub for community cancer conversations, a space to support and connect with one another.

Anyone impacted by cancer, whatever way this may be, is welcome to join this community space. Whether you would like to talk, listen, meet others, or be in the company of people who may understand some of your experience, you are welcome.

Over the last fifty years, Saheli has grown from a small, community-led initiative into a
vital lifeline for women facing domestic abuse, forced marriage, honour-based abuse
and other forms of violence. Together with their partners, supporters and volunteers, they
have helped over 10,000 women find safety, rebuild their confidence and take
courageous steps towards independence. This celebration is as much about their shared
past as it is about a future in which every woman and child has the right to live free
from fear.

The 50th Anniversary Dinner will take place from 5.30pm – 11.30pm on Saturday 12

Mandem Meet Up have launched a programme in Higher Blackley and are trying to engage with young men aged 16-25 who are at risk of perpetrating violence, extremism and/or being involved in the criminal justice system.

The programme is physical activity, weight lifting and boxing delivered by positive male role models in North Manchester.
