The NHSBT Annual Report has been released and the statistics are disappointing.
As a charity we want to change this and will continue to do so by educating through talks at schools and community groups, and right here on social media - stay tuned for our useful infographics on consent, how to talk about organ donation, and more!

Pete is a great supporter of ours and he’s just one of our amazing runners in this years Great North Run. Every penny raised by our supporters goes toward grants to help transplant recipients and their families.
We are so grateful to all of our runners this year.
If you can please consider donating. Thank you

The transplant patients trust is very close to my heart. I have seen and see on a daily basis the people that they help. By giving small grants they assist families and patients at one of the toughest

Sharing with the families permission.

As a small charity we rely entirely on the kindness of supporters to be able to continue our work. None of our trustees are paid, so every penny we receive goes to people who need our support.

When you think of transplant surgery you think of the medical procedure.

But imagine your loved one, miles away from home, unable to work and finances are stretched. The journey to visit is long and often costly.

You might need essential things at home to help you recover that you just can’t afford.

That’s where we can help.

Josephine had never had contact with our charity, but when she sadly passed away last year her family chose us as a beneficiary of her funeral.

Since then we have been able to help 3 families who reached out to us via their hospital social workers for support

Thank you Josephine. Your legacy lives on xx

Age is just a number when it comes to organ donation - whether you’re young or old there is no age limit for becoming an organ donor.

The decision about whether some or all organs or tissue are suitable for transplant is always made by medical specialists at the time of donation, taking into account your medical, travel and social history.

So, whatever your age, you could help transform someone's future. Visit the Red Sky Foundation website to register as an organ donor today. 💗
