We're so excited to tell you about our new service, Totcycle Baby Club! πŸ₯³πŸ‘ΆπŸ»

This is a membership scheme for parents and carers, giving them regular access to preloved baby and toddler items for a small charge (Β£10/year or Β£1/month), plus a dedicated Facebook community to swap items and chat to other parents.

This will run alongside our existing service, Totcycle Essentials, which provides baby and toddler items free of charge to families who've been referred to us, are visiting us for the first time, or are in urgent/emergency situations.

We really hope this will open up Totcycle to families who had previously thought it wasn't for them- this is for everyone looking to keep baby items out of landfill and save a few pennies!

Link to sign up is below- do message us with any questions and please do share and spread the word!

It's feedback time.... πŸ’¬

If you've used any Princess Project services over the last 6 months we'd be so grateful if you could take a few minutes to fill out our anonymous survey so that we can find out what's working, what isn't, and share with our supporters and funders the difference we are making. It really is so useful for us so we'd really appreciate your help!

New mothers in deprived areas are more likely to be isolated, and experience financial hardship or abuse, according to the Royal College of Psychiatrists, which leads to them being twice as likely to take their own lives than those in more affluent areas.

This is exactly the inequality and injustice we work tirelessly to address at the Princess Project. We work to reduce isolation, reduce financial hardship, and help mums in abusive relationships to find support. And this saves lives.

New mothers in deprived areas are twice as likely to take their own lives after giving birth, according to new analysis.

We had a wonderful time at our Tonbridge Open Day today! It was great to welcome the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Tonbridge and Malling, Cllrs Chris Brown and Kim Tanner, and many of our professional partners.

Most importantly though it was great to show our mums and their little people the fab new Hub space (the ball pit in particular got a big seal of approval!) and Totcycle room, meaning families will be able to access preloved baby and toddler items whilst Hub is open.

From next week we'll be in our new home at the River Centre every Thursday during term time 10am-12pm so do come and say hello πŸ’œ

It's our Tonbridge Mum's Hub Open Day next Thursday 30th April! We are really looking forward to welcoming visitors to our exciting new venue at the River Centre, just off Tonbridge High Street.

We will be open from 10am-12pm to show visitors around our new home, and to talk about the support we can offer to local families. The Mayor of Tonbridge is going to be with us, Totcycle (our baby and toddler bank) will be open and there will be free refreshments, plus a goody bag for every family who joins us!

The Hub provides a welcoming, inclusive, non-judgmental space for mums to find support and community. Mums do not have to have any children with them to attend (although under 5s are welcome). Our mission as a charity is to support mums, although dads and other carers are welcome too.

The address of the River Centre is Medway Wharf Road, Tonbridge, TN9 1RE. Please note that there is no parking at the venue, but there are plenty of public car parks within easy walking distance.

Please do tag anyone you think would like to come, and share our post to help us get the word out.

There is more information about who we are and what we do on our website, www.princessproject.co.uk.

We hope you can join us!
