Our strategic goal for the next 12 months:

We will support 100 young people to take control of their futures.

We will work closely with those young people in our education system who most need our support to focus on their long-term goals.

We’ll get them to look at what they’re good at, what they enjoy, the sort of thing they’d like to do when they’re older.

We’ll help them to understand how their education can support them in pursuing their aspirations.

And when needed we will advocate for these young people - with their permission we will work with their parents, carers and schools to make life better for them.

We had an absolute blast at Maidstone Grammar School for Girls this past term.

We've been running an entrepreneurship programme to demonstrate that there's more than one road to go down when it comes to post 18 or post university options.

The group of amazing young people we worked with were full of really great concepts, and they came up with 6 very different business ideas.

Run by Jon Cunningham throughout, the programme's final week was supported by two inspirational business people: Mariana Apostol and Abigail Langridge.

Many thanks to Holly Smith for letting us run this programme and to Mariana and Abi for their perspective on entrepreneurship, intelligent questions and involvement.

The Futureneers.

We continue.

Although we're currently crowdfunding we're also very focussed on finding the right business sponsors to support our mission.

The plan for this year is to help 100 young people who are struggling or disengaged with school.

The plan thereafter is to develop our mentoring and coaching training programme to scale up the impact of our work.

Do you know a business that might like to get behind The Futureneers?
