Really lovely mild night at Hungry Hearts tonight ❤️

It was wonderful to see so many guests come along. This week alone, we’ve provided 125 meals, making sure that those who have nothing still have a warm meal, a friendly chat, and a little kindness.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us — every bit of help makes a difference. ❤️

A special thank you to our lovely cook Stella ❤️

Stella cooked a delicious stew with rice for our guests tonight. We’re so grateful for the time, care, and kindness you put into making sure everyone receives a warm meal.

This evening we had the pleasure of meeting Ben & Amy, who came down to see what we do at Hungry Hearts.

They’re planning to start a kitchen in Sittingbourne at the beginning of August and wanted to visit, learn, and see how we support our guests and community.

It was lovely to meet you both. As you begin your journey, we’ll do all we can to support you along the way. ❤️

Wishing you every success — the more kindness and support we can bring to our communities, the better. 🤲

Thank you never quite seems enough for our incredible supporters who donate to us week in, week out, throughout the year.

A special thank you to Crouch Butchers – the pastries, rolls and cakes were very gratefully received.
Thank you also to Pret A Manger for the wonderful selection of sandwiches, rolls, pasta, cakes, fruit and yoghurts. Our guests had such an amazing choice of food this evening, and it was lovely to see everyone enjoying it.
Thank you Di from Open Arms Pantry for the donation of pastries and bread.

❤️ We simply could not do what we do without the kindness and generosity of our local businesses, volunteers, and supporters.

Your donations help us provide so much more than food — they bring comfort, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.

Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue supporting our guests and our community. Together, we are making a real difference. ❤️

From everyone at Hungry Hearts, thank you for standing with us. 🙏

🐾💙 We are currently running very low on dog food and bottled water.

If anyone is able to help with a donation, we would be incredibly grateful. These items make a real difference in supporting those who come to us, including their much-loved pets.

You can find the items we need on our Amazon Wishlist.

Thank you, as always, for your kindness and continued support. ❤️

❤️ Community is at the heart of everything we do ❤️

Today, Hungry Hearts Soup Kitchen was approached by the wonderful team at Maidstone Day Centre to ask if we could help one of their guests who had been offered a new home — but needed support with the rail fare to London to begin this next chapter.

We were delighted to be able to purchase the train ticket and play a small part in helping someone move from the streets into a place they can call home. 🏡

This is what partnership working is all about — organisations coming together, supporting each other, and making sure the most vulnerable in our community don’t have to face things alone.

When we work together, that’s when we all shine brightest ✨

We’ll be checking in with our guest once they have their keys to see if there is any further support we can offer as they settle into their new home.

Thank you to everyone who helps make moments like this possible.❤️

🌿 Another lovely evening at Hungry Hearts Soup Kitchen ❤️

We enjoyed a mild evening tonight, welcomed lots of new faces, and spent time supporting our guests with signposting to additional support services available.

A big welcome to our three new volunteers who joined us this evening — it was really great to meet you all. Thank you for giving your time and helping us continue to support our community. ❤️

📞 It’s been a busy weekend at Hungry Hearts ❤️

Our phone lines were busy with calls from people looking for help and trying to find out where they could access food support.

We were able to talk one guest through a difficult moment, help ease their panic, and connect them with additional emergency support.

Working alongside other agencies and services is a huge part of what we do — the more we can support our guests and connect them with the right help, the better the outcomes for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who helps us keep this support going. ❤️

🍗 A huge thank you to Debbie for cooking 25 portions of KFC chicken with wedges/potatoes for Hungry Hearts ❤️

We’re so grateful that you stepped in to help provide a meal for our guests. It looked absolutely delicious, and your kindness and generosity made a real difference this evening.

A big thank you also to Emma for stepping in and cooking 20 portions of chilli with jacket potatoes — your support was so appreciated. 🌶️

And finally, thank you to Dion for coming to the rescue and cooking 20 pizzas as a last option. 🍕

The kindness, teamwork, and generosity shown by our volunteers and supporters is what keeps Hungry Hearts going. We couldn’t do what we do without you. ❤️

Thank you to Maidstone Trans Network for the donation of water. We are very grateful for your support.

🍜 A huge thank you to Miss Christine Maugey for donating Pot Noodles from our wish list ❤️

These donations make such a difference, giving those on the streets an option of something warm to eat when they need it most.

We’re so grateful for your kindness and support — every donation helps us continue providing care, comfort, and practical support to our guests. ❤️

Thank you Michael for the clothes, good to see you.

Thank you to Lidl GB in Tovil for the array of breads, savoury treats and cakes. We took what was left to Thomas Place - Housing 21 for the guests there to enjoy.

💙 We simply could not do what we do without the kindness and generosity of our local businesses and supporters. Your donations help us provide so much more than food — they bring comfort, dignity, and hope to those who need it most. Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue supporting our guests and our community.

From everyone at Hungry Hearts, thank you for standing with us. ❤️
