With Heavy Hearts, Wrinkly CIC will close our Kent operations on 31 December 2025.

Over the past ten days, Kelly and I have faced the hardest decisions in all our years running Wrinkly CIC. The post‑Covid landscape and a fragile business environment have brought challenges we worked tirelessly to overcome. We had hoped our plans for 2026 would deliver on our team’s incredible efforts, but circumstances beyond our control have left us with no other choice.

As a result, our event at Sandwich Guildhall on Tuesday, 16 December 2025 will not go ahead, and the Sandwich Community Information Hub (held each Tuesday) will close with immediate effect. We are so sorry this is happening during the festive period; we know the timing makes this news even harder for the people and families we serve.

We are immensely grateful to our whole team—especially Jenny, our Benefits Advisor, whose dedication over the past three years has helped vulnerable residents secure over £2 million in entitled, previously unclaimed benefits. Her work has changed lives, and we could not be prouder.

What happens next:

All current clients will be contacted to ensure safe handovers to alternative independent support services, so long‑term plans can continue without disruption.

Join us for Wrinkly CIC’s “Too Old, To be Cold!” event

Where we’ll be discussing the importance of staying warm as we head into the colder months. This friendly and informative session will highlight the health risks of cold weather and share practical tips, resources, and support available to help older adults keep warm and well this winter.
