Canvassing has begun for the Kent County Council elections on 1 May 2025! Wherever you live in Kent you can support our campaign by speaking to your local candidates about SAVE OAKEN WOOD! and the importance of protecting Kent's remaining irreplaceable habitats. The councillors elected across Kent will have the final say on the future of Oaken Wood.

We are thankful to every councillor and candidate, regardless of party, who has spoken and voted in support of our community and woodland so far. Friends of Oaken Wood are an apolitical community group and our aim is to protect this ancient woodland for many generations to come.
