🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨
Double podium for Chris! 🏆🏆 At today's Division H Contest in Beckenham (31 OCT 2026), our very own Chris took 2nd Place in the Humorous Speech Contest with "The Thumb" 😂 AND 1st Place in Table Topics 🥇🎤
His Table Topics question: "Should children be taught public speaking and debating skills in school?" A topic close to Chris's heart, and it showed! 💪
Two contests, two trophies, and one very proud club. Congratulations Chris, you did Kent Speakers proud! 🥳
🙏 Huge thanks to Ahmed, our member, Treasurer and Area Director, for being there and for brilliantly organising the event with the Division H team!
Fancy finding your voice too? Guests are always welcome at Kent Speakers 😉

Last week club member Carolyn from Canada 🇨🇦 won the best table topics award.

As incoming Vice President of Education, Serena was determined to make sure she received it so they met up in Malta 🇲🇹 for the handover.

Just one of the reasons the Kent Speakers family is thriving! We go the extra mile for our members - how can we help you?

A packed out meeting tonight. Toastmaster Hitesh expertly steered us through a powerful and emotive meeting about self development, growth, love and loss.
3 guests = 3 potential new members who felt the power of the community we have built, and it's capacity to change lives!

20/03/2025

It's International Day of Happiness and what could make us happier than Ben winning best evaluator, Junaid winning best speaker for his first ever toastmasters speech (ice breaker) and 5 new guests in the room and two online!

A big well done also to Hitesh for his first speech and Darren for taking on the role of time keeper for the first time.

Toastmasters is our reason to be cheerful, what's yours?

🏆🥇Well done to T for his win in the International Speech contest and Carolyn for taking the top spot in Evaluation.🥇🏆

Super proud of all our competitors (especially our first timers Paul and Ahmed) and a big thank you to all those who helped make the contest happen.
