As another academic year draws to a close, weโ€™re grateful for the conversations, challenges, laughter, friendships, and learning weโ€™ve shared together. It has been a privilege to walk alongside these students as they continue to grow in faith, knowledge, and ministry.

Wishing all our students a restful summer โ€” and to those who are finishing their studies with us, thank you for all you have brought to the St Augustineโ€™s community. You will be greatly missed ๐Ÿ˜ฐ

Still undecided where to start your ministry training in September 2026?

Here's a lovely quote from Bernard, a former ordinand at St Augustine's College of Theology:

๐ŸŽค' I'm from Chelmsford diocese and was lucky enough to be sponsored to St Augustine's College of Theology.

'I chose [the college] for its inclusiveness and diversity among students and staff, which was crucial to my formation as a priest.

'I formed strong bonds with others and experienced a wide range of worship styles. Previously, such differences often seemed to divide people, but at St Augustine's College of Theology, they foster a beautiful cohesion.

'I'll always treasure my time there, where everyone is welcome in Christ's name.'

So many of our students love studying here โ€“ so why not join them?

๐Ÿ“† Book your place on our FINAL taster day this term (June 12) to learn more about ministry training at St Augustine's.

๐ŸŽ“โœจ A special weekend as we gathered for our final residential of the academic year and said goodbye to those ordinands who are completing their training with us.

These photos capture moments of worship, learning, friendship, laughter, and reflection โ€” all part of the journey that has shaped and formed our students over the past years.

As our ordinands prepare for the next chapter of ministry, we give thanks for all they have contributed to the life of St Augustineโ€™s and pray for Godโ€™s blessing on the ministries that lie ahead.

Congratulations to all our graduating ordinands. You will be greatly missed, but we are excited to see where God leads you next. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™

Thank you to Bishop Martin, our Chair of Trustees, for hosting a garden party for Trustees and staff.

It was a lovely opportunity to spend time together, celebrate all that God is doing through the College, and thank those who support our work.

Some callings take time to become clear.

If you've spent years serving your church and feel God drawing you towards ordination, the Elizabeth Pathway might be what you've been waiting for.

๐Ÿ“† Starting September 2026, it's a part-time, two-year route to ordination for those exploring ordained ministry later in life (typically aged 53โ€“67) with at least five years of lay ministry experience.

Fees are covered by the Church, and you can study at our Kent or London Bridge campus, or a combination of both.

Why not book a taster day to learn more and sample the Elizabeth Pathway?
