This is amazing

NEW RELEASE, violinist Darragh Morgan’s new recording of Philip Glass’s 1968 “Strung Out” for solo amplified violin. Linktr.ee/orangemountainmusic

Strung Out is a spatial piece whereby the violinist moves about the performance space, yet because of the amplification, the sound itself is in a fixed location. The piece got its name from the way the sheet music was “strung out” around the performance space. This new recording by Morgan, a new music specialist, captures the energy and knowhow of this early refined example of Glass’s “additive process.”
