AllChild

AllChild Together, every child and young person can flourish in their school and community.

We do this by building trusted relationships, providing specialist support and joining up each child’s support system, including families, schools and local organisations, to deliver a personalised 2-year support plan for each child. Our vision is a West London community working together so that every child can thrive.

How can football help young people develop confidence on and off the pitch? ⚽

The World Cup getting underway reminds us how much football means to fans everywhere and the deep emotions it creates through the highs and lows.

In our latest Delivery Partner Spotlight, Trishan Patel Coaching explains how he uses young people's passion for football to build trusting relationships between students and mentors.

Trishan's approach combines football coaching with mentoring and reflection, creating a fun yet safe environment for young people to build their self-esteem and emotional regulation.

📸 There's nothing like an AllChild community day in the sun!

We joined families, community partners and Link Workers last week for the first of our half-term community days of 2026.

Community days are a great opportunity for children and parents to have fun and socialise in a relaxed environment, meet other families and take part in activities, sports and games.

When we connect families with community groups and Link Workers, we create a joined-up support network around each child and young person, allowing them to build the trusted relationships, connections and skills they need to take on life positively.

Thanks to everyone who joined and made it a great event!

We're Link Workers in Greater Manchester!

Ever wanted to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people?

Link Workers are based in primary or secondary schools, and help young people build the trusted relationships, connections and skills they need to achieve positive social, emotional and academic outcomes.

Each Link Worker supports a cohort of children and young people over time, creating an atmosphere of trust and coordinating a personalised programme of support delivered in collaboration with local partners.

If you're in Greater Manchester and have a genuine passion for supporting young people, strong motivation and high personal standards, then we'd love to hear from you.

What can parents in White City do to support children to make a difference in their communities?

Join us on Wednesday 10 June at EdCity for a free morning event, designed for parents and carers to learn what community organising is, share experiences and discover how it can empower young people.

This session will introduce parents to Power Up, a collective action project to create impact in our community delivered in collaboration between AllChild, Ark and Citizens UK.

Understanding, patience, and an engaging personality — the three must-have qualities for any Link Worker, according to our alumni 💬

For our first-ever Advisors Workshop back in 2025, we asked 20 of our students, "What makes a good Link Worker?" and the feedback was decisive.

As advisors, our alumni not only lend their voices to decision-makers at AllChild, but also to those drafting national policy that affects children.

By including youth voices in the conversation, we're able to design support that remains relevant, impactful and tailored to the needs of those who most benefit.

Representing peers, speaking up and standing out 🙋

As the spokespeople for our Alumni Network, our Ambassadors represent young people’s experiences through storytelling and events, building vital communication and public speaking skills in the process.

Making voices heard and real change happen 🔊 we're thrilled to announce the launch of the AllChild Alumni Network!

A growing collective of young leaders aged 13 and above who have completed the AllChild Impact Programme, the Alumni Network brings together motivated and passionate young people to take part in workshops, training and leadership opportunities.

Alumni are supported to lead on social action projects in their communities and invited to use their own experiences on the programme to shape how we design and deliver support in their places.

All week across our social channels we'll be introducing you to our alumni and sharing just some of the ways in which they've already influences how we work, so stay tuned!

Here's a look at a workshop from last year, in which our alumni teamed up with Media Cubs and the AllChild team to explain a bit about the network and how it's already supporting young people to develop their abilities 👉 https://youtu.be/YP0YTRUcIU4

We’re pleased to share that we’re broadening our reach to launch the AllChild Impact Programme in Hastings! We’re working with East Sussex County Council, families, schools and community partners to build proactive, early-action support in schools this September.

Our dedicated Link Workers will be based in primary and secondary schools from the start of the school term – building trusted, relationships with children and young people. Through our bespoke, two year Impact Programmes, we’ll work with the community to mobilise a joined-up, long-lasting network of trusted adults and opportunities around children and families.

What does a career in law really look like? ⚖️

Last week, young people from Chelsea Academy got the chance to find out, stepping beyond the classroom and into the world of law.

Through an insight day students took part in workshops and heard directly from legal professionals about their journeys.

From exploring different pathways into the profession to building confidence through real conversations, the day was all about making law feel accessible.

In the afternoon, students took on roles as prosecution and defence in a mock trial and even had a tour of the Old Bailey.

“I said ‘Wow, this is the missing piece I’ve been looking four years for!’”

When Mirjam van Rijn first discovered our place-based model back in 2019, she saw its potential far beyond London - and took that vision home to Rotterdam.

Today, Team Toekomst is supporting children and families across 16 primary schools in five neighbourhoods, turning that spark into real, lasting impact.

Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mirjam, CEO Lisette Tanis, and their incredible team to White City. It was a day full of shared learning, honest conversations, and a deep dive into what it takes to strengthen impact at a community level, including the power of a data-led approach.
