The Hibberd Cup is a five-a-side football tournament to support men’s mental health

We’re really pleased to announce the next Hibberd Cup, held in loving memory of Danny Hibberd 💙⚽️

This year’s match will take place on the 28th March at Downs School, where Danny went to school, which makes it extra special for us all.
If you’d like to play, please get in touch!

After the game, we’ve booked the private dining room at The Dolphin so we can all get together, have a drink, share some stories, and raise a glass to Danny.

There will be a buffet which is £10 ahead paid in cash on the day.

Please DM if you’re able to come along to support, and let us know if you’ll be bringing friends or family — everyone is welcome. The more the merrier 🤍

We’d love to see as many faces there as possible to remember and celebrate our wonderful friend. Gone but never forgotten.

This year, The Hibberd Cup will be a special memorial match in honour of Danny.
⚽️ Newbury vs London
📅 Saturday 5th July 12pm. Kick off at 12.30pm

After the game, we will be heading to The Station House for drinks and food.

Whether you’d like to play or simply come along to support and watch, we’d love to see you there. Everyone is welcome—let’s make it a day to remember! 💙

The Hibberd Cup is a family day out so feel free to bring your little ones for support!
To keep them entertained there will be a bouncy castle from Playdays Parties and a professional football coach to teach ball skills and tricks! See you soon!

In recognition of week, we wanted to share this powerful video by our charity partner MANUP?

Every year, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem but there are fantastic charities out there like MANUP? and Head In The Game who are here to help.

It was great to talk to Dan at MANUP? and share why we wanted to create The Hibberd Cup. Like Danny, the day will be filled with fun and laughter - expect food trucks, raffle prizes, a bouncy castle, a football coach for the kids, and a DJ to keep spirits high.

But the real aim is to help raise awareness for men's mental health. Thank you MANUP? for your support and the work you are doing.

Together, we can be better!
