The family that we are at the Creator Share Foundation is hold up by a great many men and women who give their devotion, love and care every day to the close to 500 children who live in our full time care by now.

If you've ever parented children of your own, you may be able to understand what I mean when I say that some of our team members definitely enter Superhuman-Territory 😀

One of these special people is "Bibi" - one of our nurses from the medical team - and yet far more than that to the village.
Communities need elderly who guide, advise and care with a certain patience yet clarity that only age can gift a human... Bibi is exactly like this - the children trust and respect her, they love her, especially when she comes with fresh oranges to ensure everyone gets enough Vit C 🙂🧡

We are so grateful for all the hard working hands that make the children's lives full and healthy, yours included...
It is together that we have and keep building the countries largest solution for children born with special needs, children who often have nowhere else to turn to.

Children often come to us from life circumstances that many of us can barely even imagine to be true. Whether they were tied up, locked away, starved or abused - Once they move into our children's villages a new chapter starts in their lives.

As we witness their journey of transformation, we notice one moment standing out to us most clearly... The moment when we first share a light-hearted laughter with a child 🤍
It feels like once that has broken through, Love finally took back the driving seat on their path of healing 😊🌠

Two little siblings, estimated to be between three and five years old, are safe with us today. 🤍

They were found alone in the local town by police during a night patrol, after having reportedly been abandoned by their parents. The police brought them to Social Welfare, who reached out to our team and asked us to provide them with a safe place to stay while investigations continue.
One of the children has special needs and will need further assessment so that we can understand how best to support them.

For now, there are still many things we don't know. For example, what happened before the children were left, or what circumstances brought their parents to a point where they felt this was the decision they had to make.
What we do know is that they are settling in well and there are already smiles. 🤍☺️

We hope that we will be able to find the children's family with the help of the Police and Social Welfare to find out what their story is and how we can help them to restore their bond.

But for today, we thank God that these two were found that night. Thank you to the police officers who stopped for them, to Social Welfare, and to the family that we are at the children's village, who opened the doors at a late hour.
And we thank all of you for standing beside us when we have children like these two little ones arrive at our gates - your support and your love has welcomed them in.

For now, they are happy, together and safe. 🤍

Today, six of our boys and girls - Baraka, Bryson, Justin, Linda, Zawia and Neyeyo - begin their Standard Seven National Examinations.

We invite you all to make a special prayer for each of them today and wish them well as they sit their exams with confidence and Faith, taking another step closer to their dreams.

I remember when one of these children was just three years old and came into our care together with their five-year-old sibling. They had been sleeping alone on the streets. They were so very small, and had already been exposed to so much at an age when a child should simply be held, protected and kept safe as best as possible.

And now, here we are, watching them prepare to sit their Standard Seven National Exams.

What a blessing it is to be their guardians. What a blessing it is to have watched them grow up healthy and strong, to see how far they have come, and to be here beside them as they continue finding their way into the world.

Today we are praying for all six of you. Do your best, believe in yourselves, and know that whatever the results, we are proud of you.

Our first episode of The outreach diaries and our first diary entry as it were is now back online... 🙏🏼

We are continuing on with our mission here as you read this... and preparing for a 900km drive to reach at least 35 children we have leads on in another region.

It's been truly miraculous, and I'm grateful to be documenting the miraculous happening, rather than just speaking about it as I have these years.

With the love of humanity behind us, and the guidance of a loving God ahead of us, we believe this mission will touch the lives of countless children who simply need to be seen, loved, and comforted after the hardships they have endured... and, for many, continue to endure as I write these words.

Thank you for walking this journey with us. We could not be the family we are and out here in the bush searching without you.
