Virgin Virtual Group

Virgin Virtual Group www.virginvirtualgroup.co.uk mirrors the real world operations of Virgin Atlantic, America, Australia, Express, Nigeria, Virgin Sun and codeshare partners

Virgin Virtual Group along with Virgin Atlantic Virtual was set up in May 2010 by Joshua John and Jake Wright. There was no realistic Virgin Atlantic Airline around so Josh decided to fill that niche and provided simmers with Virgin Atlantic Virtual. From here Josh and Jake slowly developed the group along with Virgin Australia Virtual (February 2012) and Virgin America Virtual (April 2012). After

two years of operating under various different websites, in August 2012 the decision was taken to merge all airlines under one roof. The decision was also taken to add Virgin Express Virtual, Virgin Nigeria Virtual and Virgin Sun virtual to our portfolio. In each of our airlines we mimic the real operations and operate the actual fleet (accurate as of time). As Virgin Atlantic, Australia and America grows with introduction of new aircraft so will Virgin Virtual Group. We aim to provide the most realisitic experience for our pilots and we do this by regularly updating schedules, providing real world routes to each individual schedule and applying the correct aircraft to the real world route, however this is not always possible as different aircraft have different airport configurations set. Although Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Australia and Virgin America operate an ultra modern fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft, with the inclusion of Virgin Express, Virgin Nigeria and Virgin Sun virtual, pilots are able to fly some classic aircraft that are either no longer in service or are in short supply e.g the B747-200, B737-300 and B767-300.
