We are registered with Ghana Registrar Department and certified to commence business as a non profit organisation in compliance with the provision of Sections 27 and 28 of the companies Act, 1963. SOSGH stands for Supporting Our Societies in Ghana and TIYUMTABA means lets love one another in Dagbani a local dialect from the North of Ghana. SOSGH TIYUMTABA is established by six nurses, and dedicate
d to working with women and children in less priveleged communities across Ghana enabling them to reach their full potentials and becoming productive citizens of the world, we hope to achieve this by focusing on issues plaguing struggling communities and developing a plan to abate those issues. Our mission is to promote education, health and wellbeing in deprived communities in Ghana. SOSGH TIYUMTABA is committed to supporting improvised communities in Ghana regardless of their religion or political association. Our aim is to make a lasting impression in the communities we support, unite people and raise awareness on issues affecting women’s health, children education and tackling injustice done to both women and children and most importantly giving hope to people in a time of need or difficulties. This project is geared towards supporting children in primary schools, junior high schools and secondary schools who are less priveledge with basic school resources to facilitate learning such as textbooks, notebooks, school bags, school shoes, school uniforms, pens, pencils, mathematical sets, laptops etc. As SOSGH TIYUMTABA is established by healthcare personnels, hence this project will emphasize on promoting health and wellbeing, our aim is focusing on enhancing the health of pregnant women, babies and mothers by providing them with basic neccesities they require to maintaining their babies such as nappies, baby wipes, baby clothes, baby milk, pre & post natal vitamins and nurse led support groups in Ghana to prevent or minimise complications associated with infant mortality and maternal mortality. We will also support various orphanages across Ghana with donations of clothes and toys for the children and will support other charitable organisations where possible.
