Queen Victoria Seafarers Rest QVSR provides accommodation and welfare support for seafarers, ex-service personnel and other adults in need.

A caring and homely environment where individuals are helped and encouraged physically, mentally and spiritually to meet their full potential. We foster a spirit of community providing in addition to the bedroom accommodation a restaurant, coffee shop, internet cafe, lounges with satellite TV, activity centre, library facility, Chapel and ‘multi-faith’ or ‘quiet’ room.

Alexander Campbell, QVSR CEO, and Josh, QVSR Felixstowe Chaplain, welcomed Crystal, our new Tilbury Chaplain, to QVSR Felixstowe Seafarers Centre yesterday, where she also met Jean, one of our valued volunteer drivers. Chaplains often take onboard a small gift for seafarers - Josh took a teddy he'd promised to a seafarer to take home to his young son. The teddies are lovingly knitted by local knit and natter groups.
