Proud to have been selected by Faizal for his next race!

Faizal has been stacking miles for good causes since February 2016. He chose to fundraise with Z2K for his 6th running event: the brilliant Leicester Half Marathon in two months! 💜Thank you so much to Faizal for investing in our small advice and campaigning charity.

PIP tips incoming

🟣APPLICATION
Give as much detail as possible. List the medication you take, the professional care and therapies you access, the informal support you need from friends and relatives, the equipment you installed in your home, and any aids you use to manage your condition.
You have one month to fill in your PIP2 form. You can request an extension, providing a reason.

🟣ASSESSMENT
Always ask for the recording. All telephone and face-to-face appointments are now audio recorded. However, the report written by your assessor which helps determine your PIP decision won’t be shared with you automatically (except when challenging the decision through the first-tier tribunal).

🟣DECISION
Don't get put off. Everyone’s situation is entirely unique based on their circumstances.
Check the information you provided against the DWP report, seek advice, and challenge if you believe the decision is wrong. The national average for successful PIP appeals is about 70%. his year, Z2K’s success rate was 98%. Don’t despair.

🟣SUPPORT
Seek advice from free advisers. Expert PIP advice does not require compensation. There are lots of PIP testimonies and advice on the internet, which can make it hard to know who to trust.

Over 1,400 people have already tried our interactive experience of the PIP (disability benefits) process!

💜Thank you so much for everyone who's shared their feedback so we can continue to learn, and for the warm welcome we've received.

We hoped to introduce a tool that would show the deeply painful path disabled people are forced onto, beyond the usual research report and impact figures.
