The AURA QUE range is made in direct collaboration with fair trade producer groups, breathing new li We are based in Hastings on the South Coast, UK.

We design with integrity, creating beautifully handcrafted products to be treasured season after season. Central to our ethos is nurturing long-lasting relationships with our producers in Nepal, and we are on a quest to develop our most ethical and eco-friendly supply chain possible. We use the below principles to guide us along our way:

PEOPLE - Community is everything to us, from the people who

make our products to the individuals who buy them. INTEGRITY - ‘Namaste’ is a Nepalese greeting which means ‘An expression of appreciation and respect to one another’ - this is our mantra. PRODUCT - We treasure the unique handmade qualities of our products, valuing the time and skill devoted to creating each piece. IMPACT - Providing work and economic security for the people that make our products is our number one focus but we are also truly committed to evolving all areas of our business to reduce our impact on the planet. CELEBRATION - ‘’Same, same but different’’ is one of our favourite responses from our Nepalese team… At AURA QUE, we love the quirks and characteristics between different cultures and the fact that we are all ‘same, same but different’.

🌍✨ Good news for our international customers!

For much of this year, we haven’t been able to sell through our website to our lovely customers in the USA due to increasingly complicated charges and delivery requirements. Since 1st July, changes to EU regulations following Brexit have meant we’ve also had to pause website orders to customers in the EU.

For a small business, selling overseas has become much more complicated — and we’ve really missed sending AURA QUE parcels your way. 💛

So we’re very happy to share some good news…

📦 We can now sell to customers in the USA & EU again through our Etsy shop!
Over the last few weeks, we’ve completed the necessary paperwork and made the changes needed to use Etsy’s international postage system, helping us manage the additional requirements for overseas orders.

🌍 GCSE results day is here…

With results day today, I’ve been thinking back to getting my own results over 25 years ago and starting college in Huddersfield in 1999!

I remember that feeling of having so much ahead of me — hopes of a career, travel, new places and adventures. I feel very lucky that so many of those dreams eventually found their way into AURA QUE. 💛

👜 Meet OMA & her little sister THAILO — now 40% off. We’re making space for our winter arrivals, so some of our much-loved handwoven cotton bags have joined the sale. ✨

Our roomy OMA tote is now £29.40, while her little sister, the THAILO crossbody, is £23.40.

Both are handwoven in Nepal from 3-yarn cotton, giving them their lovely two-tone texture, and finished with durable leather trims. Practical, hard-wearing and made for everyday adventures — from workdays to weekends. 🌿

Himalayan Sunset is coming 🌅 - We’re getting very excited for the launch of our new banana yarn colour range, arriving in September. Inspired by the beautiful changing colours of a Himalayan sunset, the new palette moves from warm glow to deep evening shades. ✨

A little garden joy 🌸 - I couldn’t resist sharing these lovely photos from my cousin Claire. Her garden is her sanctuary — a place she tends with real care (and, I suspect, a little peace away from teenage boys and busy days!). 🌿

I had such a lovely time when she visited me in Hastings in June with my Aunt Elizabeth and cousin Linzi - they even had a rummage in the AQ warehouse for some goodies!

She later sent me this photo of her new KALIKA ceramic bud vase, filled with blooms from her garden in her favourite palette of soft pinks and purples. 💕💜

Bespoke, made together 🤝 - Last week we packed up a rather large bespoke order for one of our favourite British brands — a quiet moment that reminded us how much we value these collaborations. Same hands, same care… just a different story woven in.

Alongside our own collection, we often work with partners to bring ideas to life — from early sketches through to finished pieces. Sometimes that means developing something entirely new. Other times it’s adapting our existing designs with bespoke colours, tags or details, all made in small batches by our long-standing workshop teams.

We’ve been lucky to collaborate with places and people we admire — from National Trust shops and V&A gift shops to the Peerie Shop up in Shetland, with RNLI shops coming soon. Each one a little different, each one rooted in shared values of craft and thoughtful making.

If you’re a brand or stockist with an idea for 2027, we’re always happy to start a conversation — whether it’s a small tweak or something from the ground up.
