Copeland Park & Bussey Building

Copeland Park & Bussey Building Copeland Park & Bussey Building - housing the creative community in the heart of Peckham.
(1)

Copeland Park is a thriving community of businesses and culture, with bars, restaurants, studios, shops, nightclubs, theatres, and galleries, among other things. Copeland Park & Bussey Building was actively saved from demolition in 2009 by local campaign group Peckham Vision. The aim of this was to show that the original disused factory buildings could bring new people and business to Peckham, cre

ating a destination point for South East London, rather than the proposed end of the line tram depot developments. The Bussey Building standing to the north of the site, with it oozing creativity and stunning London rooftop views is the iconic flagship, but as time goes on and spaces are discovered more is to come from the overall Copeland Park estate and further afield.

Next up in our August month of Emerging Artist Exhibitions: 'A Quiet Leap Forward' from Kome Eleyae & g3negraphy

โžก๏ธโžก๏ธโžก๏ธ

A Quiet Leap Forward is a collaborative exhibition featuring multi-disciplinary artists Kome Eleyae & Dav3 aka G3negraphy, exploring what it means to come of age in London.

In a city that never stands still, this collection of mixed-media works hold space for the moments between noise and stillness, chaos and clarity, joy and uncertainty, highlighting the beauty of becoming.

Built through painting, photography, writing, and layered materials, we are excited to share a collection of fleeting moments and quiet reflections, with each piece capturing the emotional landscape of growing up, where identity is still taking shape and everything feels urgent, fragile, and real.

Join them for the opening this Thursday, 6โ€“10pm.

After the private view, head over to Jumbi ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ณ for a night of music, dancing, good people and great energy.
