🤝 Putting lived experience at the heart of research

People affected by epilepsy continue to play an important role in shaping the research we fund through our Shape Network Application Clinics.

These sessions connect researchers with people with lived experience to discuss and strengthen applications in our Grant Round, which is now open for 2026-27.

Applications are open for our Early Career Researcher (ECR) Observer Opportunity as part of the 2026–27 Grant Round.

Two ECRs will join our Scientific Advisory Committee meetings, gaining insight into the grant review process, what funding committees look for, and how to strengthen future applications.

We particularly welcome applications from researchers at institutions with limited epilepsy research expertise or resources, and from groups underrepresented in epilepsy research.

Apply by Monday 21 September 2026.
