Learning Disability Network London We are a charity which supports adults and children with learning disabilities, and their families.

LDN (Learning Disability Network) London is an award-winning charity providing services for people with learning disabilities and their families in Westminster and other London boroughs. We believe that people with learning disabilities and their families have the right to live with respect and dignity throughout their lives. And that the people we support should receive services which respond to what they want, are respectful to them, shaped by them and meet their needs.

At a time when the SEND community is facing such a huge crisis, charities like LDN London provide vital support that families and individuals simply cannot afford to lose. For me, this run is about supporting those who support us. I’m incredibly proud to be fundraising for them.”

Hub members got to be some of the first people to see the British Museum's latest exhibition.

Our members went to the exhibition about Korean art. They also listened to a talk by the curator.

The group said that they really enjoyed it.

Jay recently led this fantastic craft session for the autism group. They made masks together. 🎭

They chose this topic because many autistic people feel they have to act a certain way to fit in with non-autistic people. This is often called 'masking'.

Society needs to do more to help autistic people to be accepted as they are. 💙

This is being run by Islington SENDIASS, and CAMHS (child and adolescent mental health service).

It is for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities. Professionals in this area are also welcome to come.
