The attacks against the general population in Ukraine have dramatically increased in 2026.

According to the Conflict and Humanitarian Data Center, there have been 92,371 attacks up to September 30th. When strikes hit populated areas, response speed and appropriate management at scene determine how many lives are saved.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Health has formally requested Medevac Frontline to deliver specialist training in mass casualty incident management to the instructors of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) around the country. We cannot do this without your support.

Medevac Frontline extends its deepest gratitude to Sir Ranulph Fiennes for his unwavering support of our mission since the organization's inception. As one of our Founding Trustees and subsequently our Patron, Sir Ranulph placed his trust in our operational vision across complex emergency zones in Ukraine and Syria. His involvement provided crucial momentum, inspiring and recruiting exceptional paramedics who volunteer to deploy directly to frontline humanitarian settings.

Described by Guinness World Records as "the world’s greatest living explorer," Sir Ranulph’s life exemplifies grit, resilience, and extraordinary physical endurance. From the Transglobe Expedition to completing the first unsupported crossing of the Antarctic continent on foot, Sir Ranulph’s life's work mirrors the core demands placed on frontline medical teams: operating under high-risk conditions, overcoming severe logistical constraints, and maintaining focus in complex environments.

While we regret that we cannot convey our gratitude to him directly, we fully respect his family’s wish for him to step aside from his role as Patron due to his declining health. Medevac Frontline remains forever indebted to Sir Ranulph Fiennes. His foundational leadership and ethos will continue to guide our missions as our teams work to save lives on the world's most challenging frontlines.

📍The Democratic Republic of the Congo is confronting a critical public health crisis as a major Ebola outbreak continues to spread across eastern provinces.

High population movement, displacement, and trade routes are carrying cases to new health zones. Ongoing insecurity and conflict in the region severely hinder field response, isolation efforts, and contact tracing. Health workers and international teams are on the ground expanding surveillance, clinical care, and community engagement to bring transmission under control.

During 2025, Medevac Frontline undertook a number of deployments to North West Syria in collaboration with World Health Organisation.

One of those trips was organised by our brilliant and wonderful Logistics Manager, Taira. Here, she writes about her experience of visiting and working with Medevac Frontline in Syria:

In 2025, I was deployed to North West Syria with a medical team for a ten-day mission, assisting in administrative liaison with WHO on Medevac Frontline’s resilience-building training. While on deployment, I was able to honour my multi-heritage background, as a Muslim female and use my lived experiences alongside the pluralistic lenses of my identities and navigate intercultural relations with great sensitivity, especially with the female medics. The female medics invited me into their circle; in my presence, the medics lifted their veils and candidly shared their experiences as nurses turned paramedics during the war. They shared how they bypassed cultural expectations and were at the forefront of implementing training for families across the region, so they were equipped for emergencies. Throughout the training, I was keenly aware of the need to listen, and sometimes listen only, as a non-reactive recipient of their stories, and through MFL I feel incredibly privileged to have been able to learn about their experiences (which I know only scratched at the surface) and assist in fostering cultural visibility of the female medics.

Now that the Search and Rescue Teams in Venezuela have largely completed their brave work, Medevac Frontline is seeking donations to deploy a nine-person Specialist Care Team (Medevac) to Venezuela to support the second phase of the humanitarian response.
