Nominations are now open for this year’s Butler Trust Awards!

The Awards are presented by our Patron, HRH The Princess Royal (Princess Anne), and recognise those who go beyond expectations in their work in UK prisons, probation, youth justice, and immigration detention. And though not everyone can win an Award, just being nominated shows someone’s efforts have not gone unnoticed and are appreciated by those with whom they work.

Anyone can put someone forward for an Award. So if you know someone who’s outstanding at their job – a Hidden Hero among – help us give them the credit they deserve:

25 March 2026: 41st Butler Trust Annual Award Ceremony at Holyroodhouse Palace, Edinburgh.

The Butler Trust held its 41st Annual Awards Ceremony on 25th March 2026, for the first time in many years in the wonderful surroundings of Holyroodhouse Palace in Edinburgh.
