🏗️ Finished quicker than Hadrian! 😅

A brilliant community partnership between The Indy, Hugh Baird College and Sovini Trade Supplies has helped transform our front entrance area 🙌

A huge shoutout to the talented bricklaying students at Hugh Baird College for their hard work replacing the old wooden, weathered boxes with a brand new entrance space 👏

It’s another great example of what can be achieved when the community comes together, linking up our garden space, practical skills and partnership working all in one 💛

Big thanks to everyone involved in making it happen!

The Run for 97 had plenty of great moments, but one that stood out was supporting a pantry customer’s grandson as he took on the 1K run 💛

He came along to support and was so excited to get involved and it was brilliant to see him enjoying it! ☀️

A great reminder of what community events are all about 🙌

A big well done to our residents, volunteers and staff who took part in the Run for 97 over the weekend 👏🙌

A great bit of teamwork in our garden 👷🧱🔨🙌

We’ve been working in partnership with students from Hugh Baird College who have been helping with the reconstruction of our garden walls as part of their bricklaying work 👏

With materials kindly donated by The Sovini Group, it’s been a real community effort all round and a great step forward as we prepare for Bootle in Bloom 🌼🪏🪴

The Independence Initiative works with people facing homelessness and complex disadvantage in Bootle and across Liverpool. Their services are designed to support people into recovery, stability and longer-term independence.

Our Access to Accommodation fund will support their Helping Hands project, converting space into three en-suite rooms for people at high risk of homelessness, many with complex needs.

Huge shout out to LFC Foundation for Women’s Walking Football ⚽❤️

What an amazing service for women who may be feeling socially isolated and want to improve their fitness, confidence, and wellbeing in a welcoming environment. It’s about so much more than football, it’s friendship, support, laughter, and getting active together.

Creating inclusive spaces like this makes such a positive difference in the community. Keep up the brilliant work 👏💪
