In Another Place In Another Place is a community theatre charity that builds connection, confidence, and wellbeing through creativity.

We provide welcoming and accessible opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to develop new skills, share their stories and find somewhere to belong. Inspired by the people around us and by our faith, we work together to run projects and activities that make a lasting impact on all who take part. We took our name and inspiration from Anthony Gormley’s Another Place and the Iron Men statues at Crosby beach, where our first performances were produced. We continue to work in collaboration with community groups, offering large creative arts projects and smaller specialist groups including:

- Cardboard Workshops
- Sewing Workshops
- Drama Workshops
- Gospel Choir
- Giant Puppet Team

This October, The Narnia Experience has arrived at The Strand Shopping Centre in Bootle for the very first time! 🦁🌲

Inspired by C.S. Lewis’ The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, this immersive theatrical adventure invites you to step inside the story and explore a snowy Narnian forest, meeting familiar characters along the way, including Mr Tumnus, Mrs Beaver and the White Witch! 🧙‍♀️✨

🎭 Meet characters brought to life through immersive theatre
❤️ Support a brilliant local community theatre charity

But here’s the twist… 👀 There are TWO different trails, each revealing different parts of the story. So, if you want the full Narnia experience, you’ll need to visit twice!

I love discovering experiences that bring something special to our local area, and it’s even more meaningful when they’re created by organisations making a difference in the community.

We love to partner with Kingsley & Co so they have a wonderful world war 2 workshop to tie in with our world war 2 station where The Narnia Experience starts. Our performances are from 10.30 to 3.30pm every half hour. So choose one tie in with your workshop and cup of tea, and have a whole day out in Strand Shopping Centre. Book early as numbers limited.
