WHICH PUB HAS THE SMARTEST PEOPLE IN SEFTON? ๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ ๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ† ๐Ÿ‘€

BRAGGING RIGHTS is here to settle it once and for all.

The soon to be infamous quiz nights with Joey Triviani have been bringing proper old-school quizzing to the pubs and bars of Sefton. That means pen and paper, no apps, no screens and no sneaky phones under the table. It's a real pub quiz the way it's meant to be done but with a twist!

Every one of their venues will be going head to head, but only one pub team gets the title!...

This is grass roots at its best. It's homegrown and run by locals for locals, and it's built on the things that matter:

Revivers is a community-led photography and heritage project where weโ€™ll explore forgotten film, learn traditional analogue photography techniques and develop images that may have been hidden away for decades.

Together, weโ€™ll uncover forgotten moments, rediscover local stories and create a living archive of Liverpoolโ€™s people and places. โค๏ธ

Calling all young creatives aged 8 to11! Join us for 6 weeks of sun printing (cyanotype). Lay leaves, flowers, feathers and other treasures on special light-sensitive paper, let the sun do the work, then rinse to reveal a unique blue-and-white print. ๐Ÿ’™

Over the 6 weeks, children will:
๐ŸŒž Learn how sun printing works and practise the basics
๐ŸŒฟ Experiment with objects from home or the garden. A leaf, a doily, a peg, anything goes!
๐Ÿ‘œ Print onto linen bags and other fun items to take home

There could be photographs that have never been developed. Negatives that haven't seen the light of day for decades. Moments captured on film that nobody has looked at for years.

The Revivers Project is community-led photography and heritage project bringing forgotten photographs, undeveloped film and untold stories back to life.

We're inviting people to dig out those forgotten rolls of film, negatives, prints and cameras and bring them into a project that explores memory, nostalgia, place and the stories hidden inside everyday images.

Join our Water Wombles every other fortnight and help us fight the good fight for our environment and waterways!

Last week we collected 6 binbags from the canal and towpath, met a ridiculously large spider and had plenty of laughs and debates along the way.

If you have some time to spare and would like to join us, we would love to welcome you. To join in is totally free, all resources are provided. No paddle experience is necessary as we will guide you every step of the way!
