Another fab afternoon with Gill, Jan and Ali at the Gateway Collective. The shortbread was so easy to make and tastes divine! 😋

🌳Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Bridge Community Farm with Ruth and Bertie from Merseyside tcv

🐦We did a session all about Birds, starting with a walk around the farm spotting birds and then we went onto making bird feeders from scratch! It was a fantastic session.

🚶‍♂️Today we went on a Nature/ Weather Walk. We spotted more birds on this walk, along with other wildlife and much more. We record how the weather and wildlife are every month, so that we can compare the changes over time.

💚Yesterday we went to St Leonards Community Garden!

☀️The sun was shining and we got stuck in with the lovely Becky, Stewart and their lovely volunteers.

🌱We did seed collecting, flower collecting and watering. We love our time at St Leonards and cant wait to come back in a few weeks!

Another excellent day for our Climate Champions thanks to Ian and Colin and the Grow Speke team. We all loved planting the Spring bulbs and can't wait to see them flowering in a few months. It was great to see some of the wildflower seeds have already started germinating as well. Everyone learnt lots about making compost- why this is a good way to help tackle climate change whilst also helping our gardens to flourish! What could be better! ?
