Welcoming Bailliefields Community Hub to the British Blind Sport (BBS) Activity Finder.

A charitable arm of Westquarter and Redding Cricket Club, Bailliefields Community Hub provides opportunities to connect the local community.

Suitable for all ages and ability levels, the club’s visually impaired cricket sessions take place every Wednesday from 6pm at the Westquarter Redding Cricket Club.

The FA, in partnership with The Royal National College for the Blind (RNC), are excited to host an England Talent Day on Saturday 18th July.

The event will focus on the format of blind football but will offer the opportunity for young visually impaired players, male and female, aged 7-16 years, to experience blind football and or partially sighted futsal, as well as learning more about the FA Para Pathway.

Participants will also have the opportunity to experience an England Men’s Blind Squad international fixture.

We're delighted to be hosting a special open water swimming taster day with Blind Girl Swims, University of Brighton, and SwimTrek Swimming Holidays on Saturday 27th June at the Sea Lanes Brighton.

On the day, participants will enjoy expert coaching from SwimTrek, hear from Paralympic and English Channel swimmer Melanie Barratt, and take part in pool and sea swim sessions.

You can secure your space with a £15 refundable deposit. Spaces are limited.

The Community is open to all athletes who have represented Great Britain and Northern Ireland at a Paralympic Games.

The launch of the Hub represents an important new chapter in how ParalympicsGB connect with Paralympian’s. Through the platform, athletes can access job support and professional development resources, sign up for training and reunion events, explore archive imagery, stay up to date with the latest news from ParalympicsGB, and connect with fellow Paralympian’s.

UK Showdown are delighted to share details of a women’s only training day.

Hosted by Galloways and players, Claire-Louise Norman, Ellie Wallwork, and Kara Goldfinch the training day will take place on Saturday 1st August from 11am-5pm.

On the day players will have the opportunity to improve skills, learn from other women, and grow in confidence both on and off the table.
