⭐Celebrating those championing equine welfare⭐

🏆Our BHS Welfare Awards are given for excellent service in the cause of equine welfare.

Last years winner was the South’s very own Debbie Payne!

Debbie became a volunteer Horse Care & Welfare Adviser in 2023. Since then, she has attended numerous welfare concerns and always deals with them in an empathetic but professional manner.

She regularly attends training sessions, enabling her to give the most relevant and up-to-date advice to horse owners. Debbie is always super responsive and is also a wonderful mentor to one of our newer HCWAs

🦠 EQUINE FLU: To keep everyone's horses as safe as possible, we'll be checking all passports on arrival this year.
💉 All horses must be up to date with annual equine influenza vaccinations and must be 6 days clear from their most recent booster vaccination. It is your responsibility to ensure you comply with this rule: no vaccine or no passport = no ride and no refund*
🙋 If you need any help checking your horse's vaccination status, please get in touch before you enter and we can take a look at their passport for you.

Further vaccination guidance can be found using the BRC Flu Vac Checker, downloadable at https://www.bhs.org.uk/british-riding-clubs/competitions/brc-downloads/ (under 'Competitions'.
* Should the decision be taken to cancel the event, entries will be refunded less a £5 admin charge per rider.

Classes for ages 20-24, 25-29 and 30&Over lead to County Championships in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Oxfordshire, and a Supreme Championship across the whole region.
