Aircraft Repositioning Rescheduled as Relocation Preparations Continue

Following a short delay, plans are now in place to reposition XV232 within Coventry Airport on 20 June as preparations continue for the next phase of the project.

Key points

1. Previous move delayed due to circumstances outside the team's control.
2. New target date of 20 June.
3. Aircraft will be repositioned within Coventry Airport.
4. Move will create the working space needed for dismantling preparations.
5. Volunteers and supporting organisations continue to coordinate equipment, towing support and safety arrangements.

🎯 XV232 Donation Matching Challenge – Up To £2,000

To help accelerate fundraising for the relocation and preservation of Ni**od XV232, I am launching a personal donation matching challenge.

For every pound donated by supporters, I will match donations pound-for-pound up to a maximum of £2,000.

As I'm a UK taxpayer, via our partnership with the RAF Manston History Museum charity, XV232 will be able to claim £500 Gift Aid on my £2,000 matching donation, increasing its value to £2,500 at no additional cost.

That means together we have the opportunity to generate up to £5,000 for the project.

This means that if the full £2,000 public donation target is reached and Gift Aid is applied where eligible, the challenge will ultimately generate over £4,500 towards securing the future of XV232.

The funds raised will help support the relocation, transportation, reassembly and long-term preservation of one of the last surviving Ni**od aircraft, working in partnership with the RAF Manston History Museum.

Project Update – Engine Preservation Work Continues as Relocation Preparations Advance

Volunteers continue work on the Rolls-Royce Spey engines.
