We’re so excited to welcome you to our newly renovated community café and celebrate this exciting new chapter with us! 🥳

Join us on Saturday 24th October, and drop in between 11am and 1pm, as we officially launch our beautiful new space, with the café being officially opened by Cllr Simon Pargeter, The Mayor of Warwick.

Leamington parkrun is ON on both Christmas Day and New Year's Day as long as we have enough volunteers to run the events safely.

As they are both Fridays that means that we will have parkruns on two consecutive days for two weeks. That's a lot of volunteers! Please sign up asap.

It will be a lot of fun. Fancy dress is enthusiastically encouraged and tinsel and/or Santa hats are more or less compulsory 🤣 so come and join us.

Last weekend some of our volunteers got together for tea and cake and we had a lovely time! 🍵🍰

Oh, and we also talked about what's next for the library, our priorities and challenges, how we can continue to help our local community to save money and reduce waste - and most of all, how much we've loved the experience so far!!

The SYDNI Centre is delighted to announce a £30,000 grant from Garfield Weston Foundation, providing vital support for its work over the next two years.

The two-year award will help SYDNI maintain a welcoming, inclusive community hub in Sydenham, Leamington Spa, supporting essential services, activities and opportunities for local people.

Established in 1997, SYDNI works alongside partner organisations to help people, particularly those who are vulnerable or in need, access support. The Centre also offers community activities, volunteering and work-experience opportunities, an affordable café, and accessible rooms for groups, training and events.

The SYDNI Centre is extremely grateful to the Garfield Weston Foundation for this generous commitment. Funding over two years gives us greater stability and will help us continue offering a friendly, trusted place where local people can connect, find support and take part in activities. This grant will make a real difference to our community.
