We’ve been surprising more lucky customers today with the start of a new week of Random Acts of Kindness.

Today we presented vouchers to two lucky customers at The Borough.

We’ll be continuing to surprise customers throughout the week in city centre hospitality venues and takeaways.

Vouchers this week are sponsored by Lancaster & Morecambe Eats to encourage you to treat yourself with an order from a city centre business whilst enjoying the World Cup.

📆 HAPPY LANCASTER DAY! 🎉

On this day in 1193, Lancaster received its first borough charter, issued by Prince John, later King John, who was Count of Mortain at the time. This charter gave the people of Lancaster various rights, including access to toll-free land, grazing & firewood, permission to hold weekly markets & annual fairs, and also further power for the people of the district to govern themselves. 📜

To mark the occasion Love Lancaster BID have organised their third annual 'Lancaster Day'. If you head into town today you'll find lots of events & activities taking place, many of them free of charge! Find more details over on the Lancaster BID website.

We’ve been out and about in the city centre again today surprising more lucky shoppers with gift vouchers as part of our Random Acts of Kindness.

Today we visited Boots, The Sun, Merchants and DF Studio where we thanked shoppers for choosing Lancaster.

Thanks to Westmorland Homecare - Lancaster & Morecambe for sponsoring our Random Acts of Kindness this week as their way of giving back to the local community during National Carers Week.
