A huge thank you 🙏 to everyone who came along to our concert on Saturday and helped make it such a fantastic evening. We can safely say it was our best concert yet (and no, we're not biased... much!). 🎶 😜
It was also a fitting finale for our wonderful Musical Director, Stephen, who is hanging up his baton with us to begin an exciting new adventure with Lisa. Over the years, he's transformed us from a group who occasionally sang the right notes at the right time into a choir that's learned all about diction, dynamics, musicality... and even when to stop singing! We can't thank him enough for his patience, encouragement and expertise. 🎶 😊
We'll all miss him enormously, and we wish him and Lisa a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness together. We hope married life is every bit as harmonious as our concerts!
As one chapter ends, another begins, and we're excited to see where our next adventure takes us.
If watching us has inspired you to give singing a go, we'd love to welcome some new faces! We start rehearsals again in September, there's no audition, and you definitely don't need to be the next Adele or Ed Sheeran—just come along with plenty of enthusiasm and enjoy yourself. We'd love to have you join the Over Wyre Community Choir. 🎶 🎵 🎶
