The Cubs had some special guests tonight - Caramel and Rolo popped in for a visit! Caitlin and Annemarie didn't want to get too close but the rest of the Cubs all said hello!

Scouts — we’re back on Local Knowledge this week 🗺️🧭
This time we’re moving on from “marking places” to using the map properly: finding six key locations, picking one, then planning the quickest route and writing clear directions as a Patrol.
We’ll also have a few Scouts stepping up for YouShape – Lead (leading a short part of the session), plus a teamwork challenge to finish.

Scouts — we’re kicking off our Local Knowledge Badge!

Join us for Badge Launch Night where we’ll agree our local area boundary, start our places & services list, and get your ideas for what you want to change in the Troop this term. Expect a mix of map games, a local area mapping challenge, a Troop forum, and a teamwork task.

All Scouts — bring your ideas and energy!

We loved welcoming District Youth Lead Euan along last week to run some activities with our sections 👏

🦫 Beavers had a fantastic time taking part in fun group games.

🐺 Cubs put their creativity to the test, pitching ideas for a group event in our very own Dragon’s Den.

⚜️ Scouts and Explorers enjoyed a lively debate night, discussing the potential of AI in Scouting, the ethics of sport hunting, and most importantly — whether puppies are fluffy 🐶

Attention all Kirkcaldy District Scouts - It's time to channel your inner Baden-Powell, unleash your finest triangular fashion accessory, and join millions of Scouts worldwide for the most stylish holiday of the year: World Scout Scarf Day!

📅 WHEN?
📍 1st August - It marks the day BP started Scouting on Brownsea Island UK in 1907.

👕 WHAT DO I DO?

Wear your Scout scarf/neckerchief – ANYWHERE you are. Yes, even the supermarket. Especially the supermarket.

Take a photo – the more epic, the better. On a mountain, at the pool, hanging upside-down on a climbing wall, or just looking dramatically into the distance.
