Plug-in Solar is now legal in the UK.

Unlike traditional roof mounted solar, plug-in solar can simply be plugged into a traditional 3 pin socket, making renewable energy more accessible to everyone, including those renting their homes.

Ofgem has announced a rise in the energy price cap for October to December. This rise follows a previous one in the summer, which was largely masked for households by warmer weather reducing energy consumption.

Prices are expected to be around 17% higher than in April, after accounting for the VAT cut on energy.

The rise was expected following continued conflict in the Middle East affecting global oil and gas markets.
