Emergency Nutrition Network (ENN) is looking for a Treasurer to join its Board of Trustees.

This is a voluntary role and as Treasurer, you'll sit at the heart of our governance; guiding financial strategy, chairing our Finance Sub-Committee, and helping ensure ENN has the sustainability to grow its global impact.

We're looking for someone with:
- Senior finance experience and relevant qualifications (AAT/ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience overseeing audits and financial systems in multi-income organisations
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
- An interest in the not-for-profit or international development sector (board experience helpful but not essential)

What was found when looking back at 10 years of implementing a low-cost, behaviour-focused nutrition programme across six countries? Sustained impact!

Field Exchange issue 77 shares 10 years of learning implementing the Nutrition Impact and Positive Practice (NIPP) approach. With minimal material inputs, NIPP has been shown to drive lasting improvements in nutrition and health behaviours, achieving low relapse rates among children with moderate wasting. It has also been shown to be highly cost-effective compared to other more input demanding interventions. Crucially, its successful integration into national systems highlights how community-led, evidence-based approaches can be sustainably scaled, even in resource-constrained environments.

Our flagship publication Field Exchange Issue 77 showcases an innovative AI-enabled breastfeeding support system deployed in Ukraine.

By combining a secure, controlled chatbot with skilled in-person counselling and health facility coaching, the initiative maintained vital infant feeding support for hard-to-reach mothers amid ongoing conflict.

ENN is looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our team to support the project management, development, and delivery of our technical portfolios alongside our Project Technical Leads and in collaboration with other Project Manager(s).

You will be comfortable supporting complex projects and working with dispersed technical teams. You will have a sound knowledge of project management, budget management, donor compliance and reporting and monitoring and evaluation. Relevant third sector experience would be advantageous. Fundamentally, you will have a keen interest in what we do and be ready to contribute to making a positive change to ensure that every individual caught up in a nutritional emergency, or suffering from malnutrition anywhere in the world, gets the most effective help possible.

What is it really like to be an adolescent trying to find a healthy meal? One article in the recently published Field Exchange issue 76, hands over the microphone to young people in 6 countries to tell us their story.

“The reality of adolescent food environments around the world: In our own words” features first-hand accounts from ENN’s Youth Partners across six countries. They reveal the common struggles and the context-specific barriers that shape their daily food choices.

This article is a must-read because it centres on the Youth Partners’ personal experience. Their insights are crucial for designing effective programmes, particularly those aimed at improving access to nutritious food in schools.
