We are looking for new Badgers to join Banbury’s St John Ambulance Badger Sett! We meet once a week on Wednesdays where we have an exciting programme for children aged 5 to 10.

As well as first aid, games and crafts, we have a whole range of subjects from Global Badger to Performance Badger, for Badgers to complete on their journey to achieving their Super Badger Award before moving up to Cadets.

Here at the Kidlington unit, we hosted a CPR training session for the public to celebrate Restart a Heart day!

Our volunteers have been out across Oxfordshire today keeping communities safe and supported.

We’ve had:

📍 Two teams at two different events in Oxford

📍 A team in Witney

📍 A team at Oxford United Football Club

📍 A team in Banbury

That’s FIVE amazing teams out in one day! 👏

A huge thank you to every single volunteer giving up their time today — your dedication makes all the difference.💚

A reminder to sign up to become a St John Community First Aider with plenty of room for progression up the ranks (if you want to!)
We have had some lovely people sign up so far but would love some more!💚

Would you like to learn vital first aid skills, join a friendly community and attend events such as football tournaments and festivals free of charge?
Oxfordshire is recruiting new community first aiders until 28th of September and we would love as many people to sign up as possible!
