🌈 Could you spare a few hours to make a real difference to local families? 🌈
Kidlinks is your local charity supporting children aged 0-5 and their families through drop-in play sessions, early years activities and parent support, and we're looking for friendly, caring volunteers to join our amazing team!
Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Without them, we simply couldn't provide the support that so many local families rely on.
Each week, we support babies, toddlers, pre-school children and their families through a range of welcoming groups that help children learn through play while providing parents and carers with friendship, encouragement and support.
As a volunteer, you could help by:
🧸 Setting up and tidying away activities
🍏 Preparing snacks in the kitchen
☕ Making tea and coffee
🎨 Playing with children and supporting crafts and messy play
👋 Welcoming families
💬 Chatting with parents and carers and helping them feel included
❤️ Being part of a team that makes a genuine difference
Whether you can offer a couple of hours a week or help on an ad hoc basis when needed, we'd love to hear from you!
Volunteering with Kidlinks is a fantastic way to give something back to your community, meet new people, gain experience working with children and families, and be part of a fun, supportive team. All volunteers are recruited through our safer recruitment process, and we'll arrange for your enhanced DBS check free of charge.
