This Learning Disability Awareness Week, we want to show you what inclusion looks like 💙

Our members have been taking part in Every Player Counts football sessions with Northampton Town FC Community Trust.

Watching players from all three of our centres get involved on the pitch has been brilliant ⚽️

Every Player Counts is designed to get more people with a disability active in sport. For our members, it's doing exactly that.

Football builds more than just fitness. Confidence, teamwork, communication, friendships...

It's exactly the kind of session that reflects our schedule of activities - varied, active, and full of opportunities to try something new 🙌

Our member Jordan is walking 50km as part of our fundraising campaign for an electric minibus 🚐

Jordan is a member at our Kettering centre, and he will be completing the ambitious walk over three days - 23rd, 25th and 26th June.

He’ll be doing the walk within our centre, with his fellow members cheering him on all the way! Go Jordan 👏

We’re raising funds for a disability accessible electric minibus that will help our members access more community activities - every contribution brings us closer to a more connected, independent future for the people we support.

Our Wellingborough members have been busy creating sensory decorations for the garden at Lakelands Hospice 💙

When we heard the hospice was looking to add colourful decorations to their outside space, our Wellingborough members - who are passionate about crafts - were eager to get involved.

The results were beautiful, and we feel very proud to have created something that brings joy to others.

It's all part of an ongoing partnership with Lakelands Hospice, where our Corby members have been volunteering in the garden for over a year now, showing outstanding commitment.

The collaboration has been incredibly positive, and we value the opportunity to support the hospice and contribute to the wellbeing of its clients 🙌

We’ve pressed over 140 brand new t-shirts for our members and volunteers 💙

Members from our Kettering centre got stuck in on the t-shirt enterprise over several sessions - including some who were taking part for the very first time.

And the results were fantastic, with lots of newly branded, blue t-shirts for us all to wear proudly.

Once finished, we made special deliveries to our centres in Corby and Wellingborough so everyone could get theirs.

This is My Enterprise in action - real work, real skills, and results we can actually wear 🙌

We hosted a meeting of the Mental Health Northants Collaboration - a network of partners working to strengthen mental health support across Northamptonshire 🤝

As the leading community and voluntary sector voice in the county's health system, MHNC helps ensure community-based organisations are heard where decisions get made.

For an organisation supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities and mental health challenges, being part of those conversations matters.

We were very proud to host: Northamptonshire Carers, Kellys Heroes, Kettering Mind, Daylight Centre, North Northamptonshire Council, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, NHS, C2C Social Action.

Stronger together across Northamptonshire 💙

Our Kettering centre was buzzing with activity for our Open Day 💙

We opened our doors and welcomed lots of new and familiar faces for a look at life at Teamwork Trust - and it was brilliant to see so many people come through.

Visitors got to meet our staff and members, explore our Learning and Development Hub, and learn all about our member-led My Enterprise programme.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, and to our staff team and members who hosted such a great day 🙌

“All I want to do is work. I want to prove I can do it.”

That’s Norman - and that’s exactly why placements like this one matter 💙

During his placement, Norman spent two hours a week volunteering in the staff canteen at Myton Food Group in Rushden.

It’s part of his journey towards paid employment, helping him build confidence and gain real experience in a working environment.

For our members, placements like this are an important step between learning and employment - offering structure and a genuine pathway forward.

This , we wanted to give a huge shout-out to the team at Myton Food Group for welcoming Norman so warmly during his placement and giving him the space to grow.

Our members love to make a difference through volunteering 🌱

Spending time in the community, working alongside other people, and making a contribution - it builds confidence, practical skills, and a true sense of purpose.

Derek and Stephen are the latest members to get stuck in, starting regular Thursday sessions at the Daylight Veggie Patch.

Their first session saw them clear a patch of weeds ready for planting - which they loved.

A brilliant start for Derek and Stephen, and a great example of what our members take part in across Northamptonshire 👏

Our volunteers make a genuine difference across our three centres 🫶

This , we want to say a huge thank you to The 55 Group, who recently spent a day at our Kettering centre giving the canteen and kitchen a fresh coat of paint.

It’s not the first time they’ve shown up for us - they were also part of the team behind the new ceiling at our Kettering centre.

Having a canteen space that feels bright and well cared-for matters, and The 55 Group helped us make it happen 💙
