Our lovely presenter, Wendy, just took a walk through the corridors to test out our brand-new initiative: Follow the Signs to KGH!

From the main basement doors all the way to the studio, we've got shiny new signs guiding you every single step of the way. (Yes, even through the "obstacle" doors! 😉)

So next time you're coming down to visit us, just follow the signs until you see the one that says: “Here you are, you’ve arrived, it’s behind you!”

It might be a bit hot down here in the basement today, but the welcome is always warm. We can't wait to see you in the studio soon!

Celebrate Armed Forces Day 2026 in Kettering! 🇬🇧

Mark your calendars! Kettering Town Council is hosting a fantastic day to honour and celebrate the incredible contribution the armed forces make to our community. Come along to support our heroes, meet local cadet groups, the Royal British Legion, and the Northants Fire Service!

📅 When: Saturday 27th June
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Where: Kettering Market Place, Sheep Street (NN16 0AJ)

🪖 Kettering War Graves Tour:
Local historian David Brown is running a free, 60-minute guided tour of the graves and memorials of some of Kettering's bravest who fell in conflicts over the last 150 years.
🔹 Time: Meets at 11:00 AM outside the Alfred East Gallery on Sheep Street.

☀️ Summer Sundays are Sorted in Kettering! 🎶

Kettering’s historic bandstand is coming to life this summer with the return of the incredibly popular Bands in the Park! Starting this weekend, you can enjoy live music every single Sunday afternoon—completely free for everyone.

📅 When: Every Sunday from 21st June to 23rd August
⏰ Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 Where: Rockingham Road Pleasure Park bandstand

It's the perfect vibe for a relaxing Sunday afternoon. You can look forward to an amazing lineup of local talent playing everything from traditional brass and silver bands to funk, jazz, and steel drums! 🎺🎷

🍿 Bonus: The lovely team from All Saints' Church will be on hand providing refreshments, including ice creams, strawberries, tea, and coffee. (And don't worry about the British weather—if it rains, the music just moves indoors to the church!)
