Open to all to attend. It will be an interactive session where KTC will be asking people for their views on the policies which have been worked on since February this year. Also updates on emerging plans for two key sites – the police and magistrates court site in London Rd and the Gala Bingo site, so it’s a chance to give your views on what the owners are proposing for them.

We are happy to be supporting this community event by member organisations Kettering Music School - ISM MUSIC Academy and Wicksteed Park 🤩👏🏼👏🏼

**SCHOOLS CUP SONG CHALLENGE**

I am so pleased to announce a dream I have had for many years is actually going to happen! A few years ago, I was thinking how can I get hundreds of school children involved in a large music event that doesn't cost the earth?

After days of thinking, the penny dropped! The CUP SONG! yes you know it if you don't here is a link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmSbXsFE3l8

So I got researching, the current world record stands at 8000 people performing this song as once in one location! OK I may not make that number but we are going to give it our best shot!

I am in talks with the amazing Wicksteed Park with the hope of holding this amazing event on their land Summer 2025! More news will come soon :)

Schools will be getting a pack from us over the coming months, inviting them to be part of this, there will be a step by step video lesson provided by ISM so students can work on this in school (a great part of the music curriculum) and also at home.

Schools will be invited to be part of the super size event, where we will all meet at one location, and perform this song all at the same time! This will be a day to remember! Start talking about it! It is going to be huge!

This has all become possible thanks to Kettering Cultural Consortium, I put a bid forward for £1000 to be able to get a sound engineer for the day and yes you got it! We have been awarded this money to make this happen. ISM will put hours in to this for free to make this happen!

Thanks massively to Kettering Town Council for also believing in me, this is a seed which is now going to grow! You will hear all about this soon.

A great Historic England consortium-funded piece of work from the brilliant Kettering Civic Society 😊👏🏼

We were absolutely blown away by the film viewing tonight at Bonkers Playhouse 🤩

It’s so exciting to see Kettering celebrated in this 45 minute documentary 📽️🍿
